At our martial arts Dojo in Midland, karate classes for adults and kid’s karate classes teach self defense, self-discipline and self-esteem, while always reinforcing respect for others. Budokan Karate teaches Okinawan martial arts in a structured learning environment, which is designed to produce steady improvement while fostering a culture of honor. Although discipline is important, we also believe in encouragement and positive reinforcement. Karate is serious business; however, we’ve also discovered the importance of infusing seriousness with the important element of fun.
